Customer service said they would identify the bag right before it was to be processed and would send it back to me. Over two months after I sent in my bag, with no movement and the summer having passed, I emailed customer service and asked them to return my clothes to me because they wouldn't sell. Much better to donate and get the tax write-off or send somewhere else to avoid terrible customer service and frustration. They could hold the materials for months and never return them to you. Basically, once you send your clothes in, there's no guarantee they will be processed. I also asked for my clothes to just be sent back to me, and they did not process the return. It took over two months before my bag was processed - an entire season went by and so none of the clothes I sent in were relevant anymore. So don't be upset when sending them rue 21, shein, gap, stained, hole clothing, they will just sell it themselves cause they can only make a profit or they will do good with it in other ways. If your looking to get rid of clothes and dont really care what your making, yes, do it! But if your looking to make money selling, no. Now for selling, that's a whole other thing. At thredup, you can purchase second hand quality items and spend the same amount of money that you would at shein and help by purchasing clothing people no longer want. I've washed clothing that's from shein that just fell apart. I have purchased from shein and all those fast fashion sites, cheap waste of money. Looking for a cheap way to shop, but want quality, I would definitely recommend thread up. Not to mention, it's like receiving a gift in the mail. Thredup only sells items that are tip notch second hand, which is why they are priced the way they are. You go into other thrift stores, there's holes, stains, threading missing. I read a lot of reviews of people complaining about over priced items, but it's honestly just quality clothing. I love the fact that you can bundle and add things to your cart throughout the week.
